There is only one way to draw—yours. This drawing workshop is led by skilled teaching artist and AIC’s Artist-in-Residence Frances Gaffney. Participants explore artists’ processes, build professional drawing tools and techniques and explore new ways of seeing. A variety of materials will be discussed. We’ll draw both outdoors and in the studio. Suggested supplies: 9×12 drawing pad, pencil sharpener, kneaded eraser, graphite pencils 4B, 6B, and HB, or any of your favorite marking tools. We’ll be working outside, so be sure to bring: plein air easel OR folding table and chair, camera, bug spray, hat, water, and sunscreen, if desired. Pre-registration required. Call 518-582-2000 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to register.
