Two tours each day for two days: Sat.-Sun., Sept. 17-18th, 2016; limited to 64 people (16 per wagon). All wagons are full and we have many people are on standby for cancellations. If you would like to reserve a ride for another weekend date (not free however), please call Pam or Larry Newcombe at 518-639-5534  or  518-480-1743. Bring a bagged lunch, picnic blanket, and attire suitable for walking. The whole trip is about 4 hours.

TR Weekend is celebrating the Centennial of the National Parks Service. President Teddy Roosevelt and naturalist, John Muir were instrumental in its formation. The Santanoni Preserve is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a National Historic Landmark. The National Park Service guides the nomination process for new Landmarks and provides assistance to existing Landmarks.
