Nurture and Mission of the United Methodist Church

Dr. John Gocke

One cannot be a solitary Christian. As we grow in faith through our participation in the church community, we are also nourished and equipped for mission and service to the world.

St. Barbara’s Church in Newcomb is one of Five parishes in the group of Adirondack Mission churches within the Diocese of Albany. We also have locations in Schroon Lake, North Creek, Brant Lake and Chestertown.

We have a service of Holy Communion each Sunday at 11 am and are a welcoming community to visitors of all faiths.
We are located on Route 28n directly across from the Health Center.
feel free to call us at any time at the phone numbers below.

God comes to change us
Then He calls on us to help change the world for Him…

St Therese’s Church is a small but welcoming Catholic Parish in the tiny hamlet of Newcomb, in the Central Adirondack region of NY. The parish is a part of the Diocese of Ogdensburg, and shares its pastor with St Henry’s Church in nearby Long Lake.
We welcome you to our community and our Church. If you are new to the area, please let us know who you are and where you live. If you are a visitor to this beautiful location, stop by for Sunday or Daily Mass, or just for a visit to the Blessed Sacrament. The Church is open daily from early morning to evening. The rectory is next door.St. Therese’s Church
