SummerFest 2019 in Newcomb NY at the Overlook, the very Heart of the Park and High Peaks. Shopping and Garage Sales throughout town featuring Live Music, Open Mic, Food and Beverage vendors, Adirondack Artisans and their crafts… spanning many lovelies to choose from. We have many artisans from Newcomb and several from neighboring Adirondack villages, bringing together a lovely assortment of treasures to browse. Activities for the kids, live music, open mic, and a brewery. (Last year’s flyer)
The Newcomb Volunteer Firemen and Rescue Department sponsor an annual fund raising drive by selling tickets for this event. It always sells out and the crowd hangs out at the Town Beach for great steaks, food, live music, family beach activities, and socializing. Get your tickets early… they sell out quickly. This annual event takes place the third weekend in July. Enjoy a full day at Newcomb.
TR Weekend 2019
TR Weekend is running a week earlier in 2019 to make sure we can have Joe Wiegand return as TR.
TR Weekend is Newcomb’s premier event, celebrating Theodore Roosevelt’s journey out from the High Peaks wilderness near Newcomb to the White House following President McKinley’s assassination in Buffalo NY. Events will be planned over the entire weekend throughout Newcomb and designed for families with cultural and informative entertainment. Joe Wiegand will return to honor our events with his presidential appearance as “TR”. Indoor and Outdoor activities will take place all weekend. So come on up 28N, the historic “Roosevelt Marcy Trail” to Newcomb, NY, the Heart of NY State’s Adirondack Park to enjoy it’s history, culture, and wilderness.
