Winter activities all day long!! Sled dog rides 11am-2pm, MUSH!
The Dogs are back! There were complications with the original team of Sled Dogs and they could not participate this year! Thank you Ruth Olbert… she found another team! They will be here for WinterFest 11am-2pm. Plan to attend, we’re sure many of us will be anxious for that experience.

January 14th. WinterFest in the Heart of the Park featuring all the free winter outdoor activities Newcomb has to offer: Snowmobile rides, ice fishing demonstrations, AARCH open house and tour in the Santanoni Preserve (bring your snowshoes or crosscountry skiis) snowshoeing trails at the Adirondack Interpretive Center and the High Peaks Golf Course, fat biking demo, downhill skiing at the ski tow, ice skating, sledding, hot chocolate, family fun packed activities including a bonfire by the lake. A Spaghetti Dinner offered by the Methodist Women also at the Firehall 4:30-6:30pm and the Lightning Rods at 7-10pm at Newcomb Central School with live square dance music. Bring your family, dance, bring a chocolate treat to share January 14th in Newcomb, NY. Stay tuned… more info to follow…
